Time Off in Lieu (TOIL)
With Timesheet Portal, you can confidently offer the benefit of time off in lieu (TOIL) and flexible working hours. We can handle all the hard work involved in calculating the time accrued and taken off.
Easy Visibility of Accrued Time
Employees can view their current TOIL accrued directly from their timesheets, which display the starting balance, time accrued or taken, and the ending balance for the week. They do not need to request extra time worked or time taken off from their TOIL allowance, provided that the time is in compliance with the rules you specify.
Administrators have access to view summaries of all staff accrued TOIL and can download reports for sharing with others or for record-keeping.

Customisable TOIL Rules
Our software lets you configure rules for how TOIL is accrued and taken off. For instance, you can set it up so that TOIL is accrued at 1.5 times the rate of actual hours worked, set up monthly caps on accrued TOIL and exclude certain types of work from TOIL accrual. You can set up pre-approval for TOIL taken, ensuring that the time taken does not disrupt your team's goals.
